Services

- Placerville recycle center will only offer CRV buy back.
- Cardboard is not accepted at this facility.
- Please take cardboard to the Material Recovery Facility at 4100 Throwita Way in Placerville.
- Household Batteries Accepted for free for El Dorado County Residents. Positive & negative ends of batteries must be taped with clear tape. No duct tape.
- No car, motorcycle, or other large batteries accepted.
El Dorado Hills

- Cardboard bin for all Cardboard, newspaper, magazines.
- Green waste bin for El Dorado Hills CSD residents only. Maximum of 2 yards of green waste daily, must be loose or in paper compostable bags only. No commercial or landscapers permissible.
- E-Waste Accepted for free for El Dorado County Residents.
*No TV's larger than 60", TV's larger than 60" must be brought to MRF at 4100 Throwita Way Placerville.
* Microwaves and appliances NOT accepted.
